Please read these terms and conditions carefully. Together with our privacy policy, they govern our relationship with you in relation to this website. If you have any questions about them or do not wish to accept them, please contact us before using this website.
We may change these terms and conditions or our privacy policy at any time by updating this page. You should check this page from time to time to review these terms and conditions to ensure you are happy with any changes. Using or accessing this website indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions. If you do not accept these terms and conditions, please do not continue to use this website.
By registering with The Latest Thing you guarantee that you are over 18 and the owner of a valid credit/debit card. Once you have ticked the terms box at the checkout you are entering into a contract with us and agree to adhere to these terms and conditions.
Belt Postage costs and delivery times
Orders delivered to the UK and EU will not be charged for shipping, elsewhere in the world there will be a charge of £9.95 covering the Airmail costs. Where possible orders are dispatched via Royal Mail first class service on a '1 - 2 day' basis for UK customers. You can generally expect delivery within 3-4 working days within the UK and 10-12 days For the USA, Canada and Australia.
Belt Returns
Returns are accepted at the customers expense. Any return parcel is the responsibility of the customer until it reaches us. We would ask that all returned items are sent via a trackable postage service as we The Latest Thing Ltd cannot be held responsible for items lost in the post. Where tracked items become lost we will honour any refund amount providing the printed receipt and tracking number can be produced. Items sent via standard post that become lost will not be refunded directly by The Latest Thing, the customer will be responsible for applying for a credit from the Royal Mail. You will need to contact us for the relevant P58 refund form. The Royal Mail will require your original invoice and proof of postage receipt. Items must be sent back to us within 7 days and must be in their original packaging and in an unworn condition. We will not except worn, damaged items or returns that have been sent back after the agreed period. Vintage items are non-refundable. Items sent back up to 6 days outside of the agreed 7 days will be subject to a credit code. Items sent back after 14 days from the date of delivery will be returned to the sender. Monies will be refunded to the card used to purchase usually within 21 days and no later than 30 days from the return processing date. Postage is non-refundable. Customers outside of the EU can return items for an exchange within 14 days of delivery but must notify us of this intent within 48 hours of delivery.

Belt orders lost in the postal system
Please allow 7 days for delivery of your order. Although it is rare for orders to go astray it does very ocassionally happen. Orders over £60 are sent via trackable mail. If your order is not with you within 7 days from the date of purchase please contact us via our 'contact page'. We will investigate the matter before resending the goods. Please note: Due to obvious reasons we do not refund cards on missing orders. If your order was for a vintage item we will credit your account accordingly.
Payment Options
Payment is to be made with a credit/debit card or via paypal. We use Sage Pay to process your payment which is one of the largest and most trusted payment gateway providers in the world.
Delivery Times
You can expect delivery within 7 days of purchase. Please note: We make No guarantee of delivery time. All times are subject to Royal Mail guidelines. Please contact us via the 'contact' page should you not have your belt within 8 working days. Orders to the USA and the rest of the world may take up to 10 working days to arrive. Times may vary depending on the customs checks in each country.
